Elections for qualifying.
COUNTY OFFICES TO
BE FILLED: Assessor of Property
Republican Party called a Primary to be held along with the
Presidential Preference Primaries.
Since one party called for a Primary, the qualifying deadline is the
same for Independents, as well as Democrat caucus nominees (if any).
Any Democrat wishing to be a candidate should contact the Democrat
party chairman and qualify as a caucus nominee. Independents will
qualify with a petition as well as Republican candidates.
Democrat and Independent candidates will not be on the ballot until the
August 4, 2016 General Election.
DEADLINE: The qualifying deadline is December 10,
2015 at 12:00 noon.
Prospective candidates for Assessor of Property can
begin picking up petitions
on September 11, 2015.
*Note: Delegate candidates must
contact the Coordinator of Elections for petitions.
DEADLINE: The deadline to register to vote for the
March Presidential Preference Primary is February 1, 2016.

U.S. House - 2nd District, State Senate - 8th District, State House -
School Board Members - 2nd & 4th Districts
The qualifying deadline is April 7, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
Prospective candidates for School Board may begin picking up petitions
on January 8, 2016.
Note: School Board Members will run as an Independent.
